The conference was hosted by China Shangfei Composite Materials Center, AVIC Composite Materials Co., Ltd. and other units. The main content of the conference is to discuss a series of designs, processing and applications of thermoplastic composites in aerospace. In the field of aerospace in China, the proportion of overall composite materials used is still very low (the amount of composite materials accounts for about 20%), among which the proportion of thermosetting composite materials used, while thermoplastic composite materials is just beginning. Compared with mature applications abroad (the amount of composite materials is more than 50%), and There is a long way to go, and we can also predict that there will be huge space for the development of thermoplastic composites in this field in the future.
Thermoplastic composites can be prepared from pre-impregnated materials composed of thermoplastic resins and fibers. Thermoplastic resins include: PP, PE, PET, PA6, PPS, PEEK. Fiber types include glass fiber, carbon fiber, nylon fiber and other high-strength fibers.
The latest PEEK film developed and produced by our company this year can play an important role in this emerging high-end field. Combined with glass cloth composite laminate, carbon fiber reinforced plate materials, etc., the thermoplastic composite materials prepared have: light quality, high strength, high modulus, high toughness, fatigue resistance, resistance It has the advantages of high temperature, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, self-lubrication, biocompatibility and thermoplastic recyclability.
