Functional film/sheet

Dafu classifies thin-gauge film materials that prioritize electrical, thermal, safety and optical functionalities rather than structural load-bearing performance into this series. This product lineup acts as a versatile functional platform instead of a single material grade, covering the following categories:

Ultra-thin Capacitor Film (BOPP-based): Dielectric films for capacitors used in power electronics and new energy energy storage systems. Core strengths include ultra-thin thickness (factory specification: 2–4 μm), wide web capacity with effective width up to 5.8 meters, and stable dielectric and voltage-withstanding performance.
Ultra-thin Optical Grade PMMA Film: Designed for display and optical applications with stringent requirements for high transparency, low haze and premium surface quality. Standard specifications: 8–250 μm thickness, maximum width ≤1020 mm, double-sided polished finish.
Flame Retardant PC Film & Sheet (Transparent / Black): Manufactured from PC resin to deliver dimensional stability, UV resistance, high toughness and UL 94 flame retardancy. Thickness ranges from approximately 0.05 mm up to 1.5–2 mm, with standard widths of 915–1220 mm. Widely applied for insulating protection around battery assemblies, electronic appliance panels and separators, shielding components for communication and display devices, as well as consumer protective parts.

Shared Characteristics

Primary performance focuses on dielectric strength, dielectric loss, flame retardant rating, thickness uniformity, flawless surface appearance and long-term dimensional stability, instead of color matching or decorative effects.
Custom processing available including slitting, sheet cutting, winding modes and tailored packaging solutions per customer production requirements.
