Optical grade transparent polycarbonate film and sheet are manufactured from high-purity PC resin.
 
They feature high light transmittance, ultra-low haze and flawless surface appearance with rigorous control over fish eyes, pits, foreign contaminants and optical iridescence, while retaining PC’s inherent high impact resistance, dimensional stability, flame retardancy and electrical insulation properties.
Dafu further classifies this product line into application-oriented grades based on downstream processes and functional requirements:
  • Display & Viewing Window Grade: Optimized for consistent light transmission and ultra-clean surface quality
  • Hard-Coating Ready Grade: Pre-treated to accept hard coat finishing for enhanced scratch resistance and service durability
  • Metallizing Grade: Formulated for mirror coating and vacuum metallization, serving as base films for reflective and decorative metalized layers

  • Thickness: 0.05–4.0 mm; extra-thin gauges available upon grade and width requirements
  • Width: Standard 915–1220 mm; certain production lines support a maximum width of 1350–1400 mm
  • Surface Finish: Double-sided polished as standard; single-sided fine matte or suede matte textures optional
  • Light Transmittance: ≥89% (standard index for optical transparent PC)
  • Flame Retardancy & Safety: UL94 V-0 rated grades available; UL94 V-2 is the mainstream base transparent grade
