Super Hard PC/PMMA Composite Sheet

Super Hard PC/PMMA Composite Sheet is manufactured based on co-extruded PC/PMMA composite substrates (2-layer PC/PMMA or 3-layer PMMA/PC/PMMA).
 
A hard-coat surface treatment is applied to raise the pencil hardness and scratch & abrasion resistance of the outer layer, while retaining the impact toughness of the PC core and the high optical clarity of the PMMA surface layer.
 
It delivers combined strengths of glass-like visual texture and excellent drop resistance of plastic sheets.

Core Positioning (Differentiated from Standard & High-Impact Sheets)

  • Standard composite sheets: Mainly used as thermoforming or printing base substrates with limited surface hardness and scratch resistance.
  • Hard-coated & super hard-coated sheets: Designed for decorative covers and window panels that demand superior scratch resistance.
     
    They resist whitening and cracking upon dropping and sustain high-gloss or textured appearances after long-term service.

Compatibility with Sheet Structures (Dafu Standard Product Lineup)

  • 2-layer (PC/PMMA): Balanced cost and thermoforming efficiency, maintaining good bending performance after hard coating.
  • 3-layer (PMMA/PC/PMMA): Superior optical symmetry, stable surface hardness and stress performance.
     
    Perfect for decorative panels and optical windows with strict requirements on weather resistance and production yield.

Key Specifications (Manufactured on the Same Production Lines as Standard Composite Sheets)

  • Thickness: 0.125–3.0 mm (custom thickness grades available based on sheet structure and hardness grade)
  • Width: Max. 1300 mm; standard working width ranges from 950 mm to 1300 mm depending on thickness and structure
  • Surface finish: Standard double-sided polished; flowing light texture, leather grain, matte and other decorative textures available via patterned moulds
  • Delivery form: Rolls or cut-to-size sheets, fully customized to customer requirements on dimension, winding style and packaging
