Ultra-Thin Capacitor Film (Ultra-Thin BOPP Dielectric Film for Capacitors)

Produced from ultra-high-purity polypropylene (PP) resin via precision biaxial stretching technology, this micron-level dielectric film serves as the core dielectric material for metallized film capacitors and foil-type film capacitors. Thinner film delivers higher electric field strength, enabling greater energy storage capacity and miniaturization per unit volume.
Dafu operates dual production lines featuring simultaneous and sequential stretching processes, making us one of the few domestic manufacturers capable of both BOPP capacitor film technologies:

① Simultaneous Stretching Line

  • Core ultra-thin gauges: 2.0–4.0 μm, with breakthrough process technology supporting 2 μm grade
  • Master roll width: 5,800 mm (effective web width up to 5.8 meters)
  • Advantages: Uniform transverse stretching delivers superior dielectric performance, tighter thickness consistency and optimal isotropy, facilitating downstream vacuum metallization and capacitor winding processes

② Sequential Stretching Line (Brückner Equipment)

  • Thickness coverage: 2.4–7 μm
  • Master roll width: 6,400 mm with high-speed high-yield production
  • Positioning: Meets demands for wider gauge ranges and mass-volume delivery

  • Exceptional thickness uniformity with ultra-strict tolerance control at ±0.05 μm, forming a perfectly flat transverse profile
  • High dielectric strength (superior voltage withstand) and ultra-low dissipation factor (tan δ), reducing heat generation and boosting capacitor efficiency
  • Temperature resistance: Standard grade up to 85°C; high-temperature grade rated for 105°C, with extended grades covering 115°C / 125°C
  • Low thermal shrinkage, excellent dimensional stability and minimal electrical weak points
  • Outstanding metallization compatibility: Corona-treated & micro-roughened surface supports vacuum metal deposition, endowing metallized capacitors with reliable self-healing performance
