This functional film series takes polycarbonate (PC) film and sheet as the substrate. It delivers integrated light reflection and uniform light diffusion via surface metallization (such as aluminum vacuum deposition) or optical structure & diffuser formulations, catering to light management demands of LED lighting, backlight modules and display optical stacks.
① Metallized Reflective PC Film
- Substrate: High-quality PC film (standard thickness: 0.05–0.25 mm), single-sided vacuum aluminum coating or laminated aluminum layer
- Function: Reflect stray escaped light back toward the light-emitting side to boost luminous efficiency of lamps and backlight units
- Features: High reflectivity, heat resistance, impact resistance, die-cuttable and stampable; lighter and safer than conventional mirror aluminum sheets
- Typical applications: Reflective backboards for LED strips, reflective liners for panel lights, reflective polarizer films (RPF) for LCD backlight modules
② PC Diffuser Film/Sheet
- Adjustable haze and uniform light diffusion achieved by diffuser additives or surface microstructures
- Film gauges: 0.05–0.50 mm (available for narrow-width slitting); sheet gauges up to 1–4 mm (DFP diffuser panels)
- Applications: Light homogenizing layers for LED panel lights, light box advertising, haze layers for display backlights

- Thickness: Approx. 0.05–4.0 mm, segmented for reflective films, diffuser films and diffuser panels respectively
- Width: 915–1300 mm, adjusted by thickness and production process grade
- Surface finishes: Double-sided polished (base side of reflective films); polished + matte or double-sided matte (diffuser grades)
- Processing options: Custom slitting, sheet cutting, die-cutting, stamping and adhesive lamination

Note
Road sign-grade microprismatic or pearlescent reflective films (glass bead / micro-prism structure) fall under dedicated PVC or acrylic coating systems and are not included in this PC functional film series.
