PPO Film

PPO Film (Polyphenylene Oxide / Polyphenylene Ether Film, PPE Film) is an amorphous, translucent-to-light-amber high-performance thermoplastic film with glass transition around 215°C and heat deflection temperature (1.82MPa) reaching ~182°C. Its defining strengths are electrical: dielectric constant ≈2.8 and loss tangent ≈0.001 at 1MHz—among the lowest of any engineering plastic—remaining essentially flat across wide temperature and humidity ranges, paired with very low water absorption (~0.04%), good hydrolytic/chemical stability, dimensional stability, and halogen-free flame behavior. DAFU supplies PPO films (grade DFPPOR) in natural and black, polished/matte and matte/velvet textures, thicknesses from roughly 0.05–0.50mm (50–500μm), widths up to 1000mm, customizable roll lengths and winding specs. Key targets include film capacitor dielectric layers, high-frequency/5G dielectric substrates, NEV electronic insulation, connector & relay insulating films, and any application requiring low-loss, low-moisture-sensitivity electrical performance in thin gauge.
